Sweet Corn Chicken Soup



Ingredients:
Boneless skinless chicken breast, finely chopped-2 cups
Sweet corn- 1 tin
Corn flour-3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Egg-1
Ajinomoto-1 tsp (opt)
White pepper powder-1/4 tsp


Method:
  • Combine 5 cups water or stock, sweet corn, salt, ajinomoto and white pepper powder and boil.
  • When it boils, add chicken pieces and stir to break up chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Thicken with corn flour mixed with water and boil for 1 minute.
  • Reduce heat and add the beaten egg in a thin stream and stir slowly with a fork in one direction.
  • Serve hot.

  2. This is my all time favourite soup and the first soup i have ever had in the chinese in India.
    This looks so slurpy delicous. I always add a chillie or two when i make the broth so it haves a slight kick.

    Chicken sweet corn soup is my fav of all...and this is what I still order first in any restaurant! :)...Haven't tried making yet! :)
